Here’s hoping that the Covid numbers continue to go down and our opportunities to restore our community ascend! To that end, we have some upcoming – but safe – events planned. They include of course our Friday night 730 pm worship but also tonight’s 730 pm monthly class on the wisdom of the biblical book Proverbs. You will be amazed at how relevant this 3,000-year-old advice is for us today. On November 2 we will have our next in-person Lunch and Learn, featuring some topics in the headlines and the Jewish perspective. (Last week we looked at abortion.)

We also have coming up Chanukah in early December and we will gather as a congregation for this joyous event. The religious school on Wednesdays and Sundays is more and more back in person. At the same time, we are offering various opportunities in virtual settings and understand some people’s reticence to be in person just yet.

As mentioned last week, I would love to get to know this wonderful congregation better and so I am hoping we can meet for coffee or tea.
