Jewish Education and Enrichment

At Congregation Beth Shalom of The Woodlands, we are committed to nurturing skills, experiences, beliefs, and emotional attachments in our students and families that will enable them to integrate the values of Torah (Jewish learning), Avodah (Worship), and G'milut Chasadim (Good Deeds) into their lives.

CBSW offers many opportunities for Jewish education and enrichment:

  • A family experience with your children through our family services each Sunday during Religious School and regular Tot Shabbat services.
  • Jewish education for your children (pre-K through Bar/Bat Mitzvah).
  • Continuing education for teens through our Kabbalat Torah (Confirmation) and Madrich programs.
  • a Jewish social experience through our Youth Groups.
  • Adult education in Judaism, Torah, Hebrew, or classes leading to adult B'nai Mitzvah. For example, Rabbi Goldberg hosts a weekly Torah study on Saturday mornings and a monthly Proverbs class.
  • Individual classes, seminars, or workshops on a variety of topics to promote a deeper spiritual connection or enrichment.

We invite you to explore our CBSW Religious School. If you have questions or would like additional information, please contact Helen Richard, Director of Education, Congregational Engagement and Tenant Relations.
