CBSW Special Funds

Congregation Beth Shalom of The Woodlands has several special funds (including rabbinical funds) that support a variety of synagogue programs and activities.

Our Funds:

• Art & Architecture Fund: Supports the addition of art, furnishings, and other enhancements
• Beth Shalom Fund: For general use in support of CBSW
• Building Fund: Funds to support building  and property maintenance and repairs 
• Capital Campaign 2026: Education/Sanctuary Building Remodel (critical changes & improvements for our growing CBSW community)
• Cindy Shulman Oneg Fund: Providing supplies and refreshments for after-service onegs
• Education Fund: Provides funds for Religious School and Lifelong Jewish Learning
• Endowment Fund: To secure the future of CBSW
• Ezra Mitzvah Fund: Provides support for members in need
• Flower Fund: Provides funding for flower arrangements at services and special events (excluding B'nai Mitzvah)
• Havurat Nashim or Men's Club: Supports the sisterhood and men's organizations of CBSW
• Rabbi's Tzedakah Fund: Supports special causes at the rabbi's discretion
• Rabbi Brahms Emeritus Fund: Supports new and innovate programming for our CBSW members
• Ritual Fund: Special programs, prayer books and ritual objects
• Sachs Mitzvah Fund: College student encouragement and special projects
• Security Fund: Provides funds for critical security measures
• Social Action Fund: Supports our Tikkun Olam (Social Action's) committee and local community projects
• Youth Fund: Provides scholarships for camp, Israel trips, and youth activities
