Our sanctuary, designed by Rabbi James Brandt, incorporates architectural elements and artwork that enhance our worship services and ritual programs. The centerpiece of our sanctuary, the Holy Ark is reminiscent the Holy of Holies which held the Ark of the Covenant during the days when the Temple stood in Jerusalem. The Ark is designed to be a small vestibule that is entered during services to retrieve the Sefer Torah.

As part of our congregation’s B’nai Mitzvah and Confirmation celebrations, our children are invited into the Ark to be blessed by the Rabbi. Flanking the maple doors of the Holy Ark, the sanctuary’s front stone wall is fashioned after the Western Wall in Jerusalem. The sanctuary’s beautiful Eternal Light is an artistic interpretation of the burning bush. The stained glass windows in the towers on either side of the Bimah depict images of the tablets of the Ten Commandments and the Star of David. Our sanctuary and Bimah are fully accessible to the disabled.

The religious school wing is home to our religious school. Spacious, well appointed classrooms provide our students an environment conducive to learning and discovery. Several classrooms have direct access to the large deck and enclosed play yard situated behind the school wing. Our campus is adjacent to Shadowbend Park, providing us direct access to the park’s basketball courts, sports fields, and picnic areas.
